For those of you who don’t know, when you call into banks to start negotiating a short sale, it is very possible for you to talk to someone in Arizona about your Arizona short sale.
I have compiled a short list of these Arizona Short Sale Banks:
- Chase: Tempe, Arizona Short Sale Bank & Phoenix, Arizona Short Sale Bank
- Bank of America (Used To Be Countrywide): Chandler, Arizona Short Sale Bank & Phoenix, AZ Short Sale Bank
- Homecomings: Scottsdale, AZ Short Sale Bank
- Then any small local banks you might have a mortgage with. Desert School, etc…

Is this market it is absolutely imperative if you are short selling your home, you have a very experienced agent. Only 10% of the short sales in Las Vegas ever close.
Charles Richey makes a good point. Short sales can be difficult to close on, even when you do work with someone who is experienced.
