The lesson I have been learning rings true in not just only the short sale world. I have learned that great organization equals less hassle. I was working on a Scottsdale short sale today. I called into the bank and divulged the loan number only for their to be confusion. The nice woman who was helping me with my Scottsdale short sale informed me that loan had been removed years ago. Long story short, we finally figured out that the homeowner refinanced and was given new loan numbers. This whole problem wouldn’t have risen had the homeowner been organized. If the homeowner knew their loan or had the correct papers their short sale wouldn’t currently be delayed. Anyways, lesson learned.
